The stretch of coastline from Ballinesker to Raven Point is best accessed via the R743 from Curracloe village. It is mainly a spring and autumn fishery. In springtime bass, smoothound and flounder should be the target species with codling dabs, whiting and dogfish available in winter. Fishing a flood tide produces the best results particularly at night. Species: Codling, bass, smoothound, flounder, dabs, whiting and dogfish.
