The Gardens consist of an exquisite Victorian Castle set within 50 acres of Ornamental Grounds. The Architect Daniel Robertson designed both Johnstown Castle Gardens and Powerscourt Gardens. The Grounds contain a wide variety of Trees and Shrubs representing the best aspects of a formal and Wild Garden. An admission charge of €6 applies during the peak season (May to September)
