Johnstown Castle comes alive with festive cheer over the weekends of 10th & 11th and 17th &18th December with something for all the family to enjoy.

‘Santa at the Castle’ is a must for the little ones and offers a rare opportunity for visitors to see inside Johnstown Castle and soak up the festive atmosphere in grand surroundings.

Entrance to ‘Santa at the Castle’ is by timed ticket and so advance booking is essential.

Visitors will start the experience with a short trip to the castle from the Irish Agricultural Museum in their choice of either a vintage car or a stretch limo. Once inside, adults will be able to enjoy a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie while the children write a letter to Santa (helped by Frosty the Snowman if they want). Everyone will then go and visit Santa in his beautifully decorated room with magnificent sleigh where the children will post their letter and choose a gift from Santa.

There will be lots of photo opportunities – so visitors are reminded to bring a camera! It promises to be a unique and memorable experience for all.
