The 2018 All Ireland Farmers Market competition
The 2018 All Ireland Farmers Market will take place on Sunday, 17th June, at Abbey Square, Enniscorthy. Some of the best food producers in the country will compete for very valuable prizes including the perpetual cup for first prize. Many competitors will also join the regular Saturday Farmers Market the day beforehand to sell their produce starting at 9am until 5pm approx. 1798 Rebellion 220th Anniversary – The Battle of Vinegar Hill on Sunday 17th June on Vinegar Hill Location: Vinegar Hill, Enniscorthy Time: 2:00pm This event will have a full re-enactment of the battle of 21st June when over 1500 rebels were killed on the hill. Re-enactors from 44th Regiment and the Napoleonic Society are travelling from England as Redcoats to be joined by Rebel groups from Enniscorthy, Mayo, Monasterevin, Prosperous, Kilkenny, Limerick and Ashbourne.
