Golden 50th Strawberry & Street Rhythms Events!
The new stainless steel flagpole which is to take centre stage in Abbey Square, Enniscorthy is due to be put in place this week. The piece which will be known as The Patriots Flag will take centre stage during the 1916 Centaury Celebrations with several events due to take place in Abbey Square. The Flagpole will be transported in pieces to Enniscorthy and is hoped that it will be erected on Thursday evening. The design phase for the project started around October last year then it went into production early in January. It is a big sculpture and lot of design, engineering and man hours has gone into it.
