In 2013 Bank of Ireland Bank of Ireland launched the enterprise town programme an initiative aimed at supporting local communities across Ireland. At the heart of the programme is a business and community expo which provides a focused opportunity for local small and medium run enterprises to come together and promote their business to the wider community. S sports and community expo also takes place which brings together local schools, sports clubs and community organisations. both events feature prominent business and sporting personalities and are an excellent showcase for the town and community.
